NEW WORLD ORDER
“Imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever” is a chilling, familiar line from George Orwell’s “1984” a classic novel accounting life in a totalitarian state. This analogy paints a pretty picture of what the New World Order has planned for humanity in the coming years if the current signs are anything to go by. Firstly “What is the New World Order?” you might ask, and it is a question that should be at the forefront of modern culture for it concerns every man, woman and chi…

By this time Rogue was making curious inroads into the higher echelons of the Merseyside drug fraternity...
Which was how I got to meet Eddie and Robbie...only students, dealers and scam merchants can afford to go out midweek...So there exists this phenomenon whereby, rather than run the risk of hanging out with dorks and strangers, yr local businessman will subsidize his mates and/or woman for some midweek hedonism...in return for the joys of familiar company, no self respecting gangsta wants t…

LETTER FROM THE SOUTH WEST WASTES
Drizzly Brizzle 7th Dec.
I am out of this shitty city in a couple of weeks...Back to glorious Green Haze, same house, different flat...I want to spend New Year in Liverpool drugged and dancing...If you are seriously thinking of moving south come and take a closer look... Recoil in horror at the hordes of miserable, inbred bigots with fat wallets + zero imagination. Breath deep the clouds of pollution from lines of tragic workies grid locked forever on streets…

On the bus home yesterday I overheard some verbose fuckwit giving it: "They should send those fuckers to Iraq" referring to some little hoodie breaking an unspecified law in the local rag. And my mind started working overtime. Way back in 1992 I had the dubious pleasure of being involved in the production of "War In The Gulf" a primitive video game, produced by the aptly named Empire Software. The game and job were shite, but the company was excellent...basically an international bunch of anarch…

Welcome to the shopping dives
Here is where the Beatles died
They dug a hole to put them in
But the fuckers rose and walked again
A tragic fate awaits
This two-zero-zero-eight
So come all you Bezzies
It’s Blood on The Trackies
Hang Michael Shields
Bring Back Hillsborough
96 tears are never enough
The great game’s for queers
When push comes to shove
Now the reds are all euros
And the blues are all paedos
Tony Walker bleeds
Gerard Steven’s in ‘Hello’
All the kids can spit like him
Even if they can…

When Low Level Fears were merely a glint in the galaxy's eye, there existed three men. Human men. Together, these three men would conspire to pull off one of the most audacious moves ever witnessed in the history of music.
They would go from total strangers (sort of) in a dilpidated basement, to a powerhouse hard rock trio with an emotional intensity not seen since Aqua burst onto the scene in the mid nineties. Who can forget such soul wrenching, gut fucking epics as 'Barbie Girl' and the inimi…

As an atomic explosion annihilates all that has gone before...The cybervoice drowns out distorted airhorns...”Tonight Matthew...I’m going to be off my face” and the bass drum as inevitable as death batters black holes into the sparkling evening. All over the city a momentary shudder crosses the gorgeous body of any self respecting disco diva and a thousand unconcious fists puncture the stratosphere...remember this could be the greatest night of your life...
“Welcome to tonight’s entertainment...…

I learned a lot from monkeys. They hand toss their shit with pride rather than hiding skid-marked underwear beneath three-piece suits.
A friend told me he found a live monkey in a Texas pawnshop. Some people have no shame.
I know the secret way to be young again. I remain shackled to man's ruin by a plastic watch and a bracelet made of coins, I moved forward holding the hand of father time, knowingly under his control, I felt myself a kid again. I play with toys. It helps me process. My sesame…

“The first big rave I went to was Carl Cox and Raving Dave at Quadrant Park. Picture a fuck off mega warehouse in Bootle. The Quad was run by a bunch of scally gangstas...but it changed the whole vibe of the area. Before you couldn’t walk down Marsh Lane without the threat of getting killed...and now they’d be hanging out of their windows chatting away to you at 5 a.m...by that time a cloud had formed beneath the ceiling of the warehouse and it would start raining sweat back down upon the crowd.…

When Morrissey came out on stage he announced "It's Saturday night, it's raining, it's Liverpool, it's perfect", but by half way through his second song he walked off stage to not return. There was nothing perfect about the evening. I don't need to go into the details of Mozgate too much, rights and the wrongs have been covered enough, but the fact remains that thousands turned up and paid £30- £40 each plus booking fees to see someone do a show, and they didn't get it.
I can't deny that having…

"To dance is to imitate the gods" - Havelock Ellis
And the guy next to me in the pisser says:
“Has anyone ever told you that you look like John Paul?”
“What, the pope?”
“No Gautier, you silly twat!...Do you know where I can get any tablets?”
“No mate, sorry”
“Fuck...you were my last hope...you look like the only one in here off your face”
“You shameless flatterer”
We are situated in the fetid, inadequate, decidedly unglamourous latrines of the temple....somewhere behind us I can overhear Steve…

A film about the murder of 18-year-old Michael Causer in Liverpool and the subsequent lack of coverage by the national press was premiered at the Unity Theatre in Liverpool as part of the Homotopia festival, who say mainstream news ‘exclude’ homophobic violence.
Produced by the festival director, Gary Everett, ‘The Invisible Death of Michael’ says the killing of Michael only became well-known through social networking sites and specialised news media.
Mr Everett said: ‘Michael’s death was invi…

"
An artist is somebody who produces things that people don't need to have." - Andy Warhol
This can very much be said of the money sucking, panic induced, once a year occurance that is...Christmas.
Everywhere you happen to go, on your traditional Christmas shop and set your vulnerable, overly gullible eyes on, you'll see the word 'SALE'. You'll encounter villainous shop assistants, coercing you to purchase worthless, useless shit, that 'people don't need to have.' You'll find the occasion…

my computer bust...
i needed it fixing... urgently... desperately!
bypassing the apple store, I contacted my mac guy, knowing that shady meetings after hours and hidden late night texts were to follow.
I made contact; an old number not used in years.
He was free to collect in an hour, in an hour!
He would look at it that evening, like he knew i was going to call.
Sitting in his car i delivered my diseased machine to my guy...
He wears the office uniform worn by many; slacks, short-sleeved sh…
